Creator God,
you have made us for yourself,
and our hearts are restless
until they find their rest in you:
teach us to offer ourselves to your service,
that here we may have your peace,
and in the world to come may see you face to face;
through Jesus Christ our Lord.
Amen.

Mission and Outreach
Woody Point Special School has been discerned as a focus for our new season of mission and outreach. The yellow lid bins at the back of the church are waiting for your extra groceries to donate to their pantry. Meals which are labelled with date and ingredients, packaged and frozen can be put in the church freezer for collection. For more information, contact Elizabeth on 0404 080 861, or Leisa.
BCA Boxes are due: please leave them on the back table, or hand to Elizabeth.
Spirited Generosity is an ongoing initiative in our parish. Please check the back table for information on our next steps. If anything has been raised in your spirit as a result, please continue the conversation with fellow parishioners, parish councillors, wardens, and Fr Ted.

Fisher Bags
Welcome • Care • Mission
Our Fisher Bags — Bags of Love are a simple way for our parish to extend Christ’s love beyond our church doors. They are designed to welcome those who are new among us, offer care and encouragement to those who may need a little support, and strengthen our mission of reaching out and connecting with our wider community.
Sunday 6 September — following the 8am service
We would love your help to collate 100 Fisher Bags, ready for our parish to use whenever an opportunity arises to welcome, care or reach out to someone.
Come along and lend a hand as together we put our faith into action — one bag of love at a time.
With thanks Parish Council

Prayer Space with Leisa
“Remembered with Love”
Those we love may no longer walk beside us, but the love we shared remains forever within our hearts. Today we remember with gratitude those who have gone before us and entrust them into the everlasting love and care of God.
Let us pray.
Loving and eternal God, we give you thanks for the lives of those we have loved and who are no longer with us. Thank you for the love they gave, the memories we shared, the lessons they taught us, and the many ways their lives continue to be part of ours.
When we miss them, comfort our hearts.
When memories return, help us to receive them with gratitude and remember the joy of having loved and been loved.
We entrust our loved ones into your everlasting care, confident that nothing—not even death—can separate us from your love in Jesus Christ.
Until that day when all things are made new in you, help us to treasure the memories, carry their love within us, and live each day with faith and hope.
For those we love and see no longer, we give you thanks, O Lord, and entrust them into your eternal peace.
Through Jesus Christ our Lord.
Amen.
